Theme

Rashtriya e Pustakalaya invites you to express your creativity in the Amrit Kaal Story Writing Competition. This competition provides an opportunity for you to craft stories that reflect hope, innovation, and transformation for India's future. Share your vision for a better, cleaner, and more prosperous India during this transformative era of Amrit Kaal. Let your stories inspire the nation, fostering change and encouraging collective progress!

The overarching theme of the stories on Amrit Kaal will encompass “My Idea for a Viksit Bharat (Developed India)”. Students from classes 9 to 12 can submit their stories on any of the following themes :

1. 1. Unsung heroes of India.
2. 2. Developing unity, and a sense of duty among Indians.
3. 3. How youth power can bring positive changes in the society.
4. 4. Unleashing the potential of India.
5. 5. Green growth stories.

Format

1. 1. Stories must have a Title and must not exceed 1000 words.
2. 2. Stories should be submitted in any of the 22 languages listed under the Eighth Schedule of the Constitution, in addition to English.
3. 3. Submissions should be in a clear, downloadable format, and can either be text, PNG, JPG, or PDF.

Evaluation Criteria

Stories will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

1. 1. Content and understanding of the theme.
2. 2. Accuracy.
3. 3. Fluency.

Additional Information

1. 1. By submitting your story, you grant permission for its use in promotional materials by the Ministry of Education and Rashtriya e Pustakalaya.
2. 2. Ensure your story adheres to the competition guidelines and is free of offensive content.
3. 3. The content must be original, and any plagiarism will result in the disqualification of the candidate.

पुस्तकालय में हिंदी पुस्तकों की प्रदर्शनी का आयोजन

आज दिनाँक 19-09-2024 को पी॰ एम॰ श्री केंद्रीय विद्यालय मुरादनगर में हिंदी पखवाड़े की गतिविधियों के अंतर्गत पुस्तकालय में "हिंदी पुस्तको की प्रदर्शनी" का आयोजन किया गया।  प्रदर्शनी का उद्घाटन प्राचार्य श्री मनोज कुमार जी ने रिबन काट कर किया। इस अवसर पर पुस्तकालय शिक्षक श्री मुकेश कुमार ने सभी विद्यार्थियों एवं शिक्षकों को पुस्तकालय में प्रदर्शनी का अवलोकन करवाया तथा पुस्तकालय में संग्रहीत पुस्तको की जानकारी प्रदान की। प्राचार्य जी के साथ बहुत सी कक्षाओं के छात्र -छात्राओं एवं शिक्षकों ने पुस्तक प्रदर्शनी का अवलोकन किया तथा हिंदी के विशाल साहित्य एवं लेखकों का परिचय प्राप्त किया। प्राचार्य जी ने बच्चों के साथ विविध पुस्तकों के बारे में चर्चा की।

      प्रदर्शनी में हिंदी के भक्ति कालीन साहित्य के कबीर, तुलसी, सूर रसखान सहित आधुनिक लेखकों और कवियों भारतेन्दु हरिश्चंद्र, प्रेमचंद,मोहन राकेश,निराला,महादेवी वर्मा, हरिवंशराय बच्चन आदि की विभिन्न पुस्तकों का संग्रह दर्शनीय रहा।

      विज्ञान, धर्म,संस्कृति, समाज  विज्ञान, शब्दकोश सभी विषयों पर हिंदी किताबो  का दुर्लभ सँग्रह हमारे पुस्तकालय में है।

   पुस्तकालय शिक्षक श्री मुकेश कुमार ने जानकारी दी की वर्तमान में विभिन्न विषयों पर हिंदी और अंग्रेज़ी में लगभग 11 हज़ार किताबे लाइब्रेरी में संग्रहीत हैं।

     प्राचार्य महोदय ने इस अवसर पर कहा कि बच्चे और शिक्षक अधिक से अधिक पुस्तकालय का उपयोग करें तथा किताबे पढ़ने की आदत डालें। किताबे हमारी सबसे अच्छी दोस्त हैं।

     सभी शिक्षकों और बच्चों  ने पुस्तक प्रदर्शनी का  भरपूर आनन्द लिया और पसन्द की पुस्तकों के नाम भी नोट बुक में लिखे।

पठन प्रचार गतिविधि / Reading Promotion Activity

 

 

 

Under the PM SHRI (Pradhan Mantri Schools for Rising India) initiative, our school successfully organized Reading Promotion Activity from September 2024. This event was designed to foster a love for reading, enhance students' literary skills, and create a vibrant literary culture within the school. These activities featured a series of competitions; all aimed at encouraging students to explore literature, express their creativity, and develop critical thinking abilities.

Below is the detailed the activities:

1.  Story Telling Competition

The week commenced with the Story Telling Competition, which aimed to develop students' oral communication and narrative skills. The competition was conducted group wise for students from classes 3-5 and 6-8. Participants showcased their storytelling talents, drawing from a variety of sources such as folk tales, personal experiences, and original stories. The event was successful in boosting students' confidence, creativity, and public speaking abilities.

 

 

 

2.  Story Writing Competition

The following day, the Story Writing Competition was held for students from classes 6-8, organized class wise. This competition focused on enhancing creative writing skills, encouraging students to articulate their thoughts and imagination in written form. Participants crafted original stories, showcasing their ability to develop characters, construct narratives, and express ideas clearly and creatively. The event was instrumental in improving students' grammar, vocabulary, and overall writing proficiency.

 

 

3. Correct Words Per Minute Competition

The Correct Words Per Minute Competition was held for students from classes 3-8, organized class wise. This competition focused on assessing and improving students' reading fluency and accuracy. Participants were tested on their ability to read quickly while maintaining comprehension and accuracy. The event was effective in encouraging regular reading practice, which is crucial for enhancing literacy skills.

4. Complete the story

Complete the Story Competition was held for students from classes 6-8, organized class wise. This competition focused on enhancing creative writing skills, encouraging students to articulate their thoughts and imagination in written form. Participants crafted original stories, showcasing their ability to develop characters, construct narratives, and express ideas clearly and creatively. The event was instrumental in improving students' grammar, vocabulary, and overall writing proficiency.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Conclusion

Reading Promotion Activity under the PM SHRI initiative was a resounding success, with enthusiastic participation from all students. The competitions provided a platform for students to showcase their literary talents, improve their academic skills, and develop a lifelong love for reading. The week’s activities not only emphasized the importance of reading and writing but also helped create a vibrant literary culture within the school. Every student’s involvement contributed to the overall success of the event, making it a memorable and impactful experience for the entire school community.
