SHRI KENDRIYA VIDYALAYA O.F. MURADNAGAR recently celebrated Reading Promotion
Week - II. This initiative, part of the PM Schools for Rising India program,
aimed to inspire a love for reading among students through a variety of
engaging activities.

Activities:
Ø Book Exhibition: The week began with a vibrant display
of books, encouraging students to explore different genres.
Ø Essay Writing Competition: Participants reflected on their
favorite books, enhancing their writing and analytical skills.
Ø Book Review Writing Competition: Students summarized and analyzed their
readings, deepening their appreciation for literature.
Ø Quiz Competition: A fun, interactive way to test
knowledge of books and authors, promoting teamwork.
Ø Book-Making Competition: Students expressed their storytelling
talents by creating short stories and comics.
Ø Hindi Story or Poem Telling Contest: The week concluded with a celebration
of Hindi literature, showcasing students' public speaking skills.
Reading
Promotion Week - II was a great success, marked by enthusiastic participation
